PINK SATURDAY

PINK SATURDAY:

Please see my explanation for why I am not on the list at the bottom...as usual I am having difficulty moving the pictures and words around...one day I just might learn to load pictures first and write later!!! Or not...

Last weekend we spent the long weekend at Harrison Hot Springs in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. I will do another post on the place hopefully later this week but for Pink Saturday I am just going to post some pictures of the gorgeous flowers that abounded everywhere we went there.

My favorite pink flower is above among the other pink flowers...she always comes with us when we go to this place for the weekend and this time was no exception. And of course she had to get in on my picture taking session. This was a couple of days before she became one of the "big" kids and started kindergarten...where does the time go...seem like not long ago she was looking for her ba ba (bottle) and sucky (pacifier)...but somehow all of a sudden she is one of the big girls...
Once again I have been remiss and not notified Beverly of How Sweet the Sound that I am in or out for Pink Saturday. It seems time is just flying by and despite the fact I am not in for pink Saturday, I seem to remember taking a few flower pictures and let's face it, my last post is getting very OLD!!! I am not sure if Beverly is still asking for everyone to post links to other blogs but Sherry over at Country Wings in Phoenix has a fabulous post today with a Halloween theme and music to match so be sure and go and visit her for some fun pinks! http://countrywingsinphoenix.blogspot.com/2009_09_06_archive.html

And go here to find the list for today's participants who were more punctual and managed to let dear Beverly know they would be posting today! http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/
And now run don't walk over to Jeanne at Back Yard Neighbor's blog as she is having a fabulous giveaway this week!
Lots of Pink giveaways today, Mary is also having a lovely giveaway so hop over and see her here http://www.rosebrookcottage.blogspot.com/
Happy Pink Saturday!

Hi Linda, It really is no big deal to miss Beverly's list. when you visit, you get visited back in most cases. Your pink flowers are beautiful, especially those gorgeous baskets. However, your best is your adorable little Pinkie. They do grow up fast don't they?

Your are entered in the giveaway twice. Thanks Linda. Good luck.

Hello,
Even though I am not participating (as I missed the deadline yet again), I am doing an organic visit to wish my friends old and new, Happy Pink Saturday!

What's an organic visit'? It's one that takes a natural course through an almost viral form. I'm visiting people YOU have had visit, and then visiting people they have had visit, and so on! Great way to reach out and talk to people.

Your post was delightful, oh those flowers! HPS -

Hi Linda!!

Happy Pink Saturday and thank you for the visit!! I love the sweet baskets and your precious little Pinky girl, all grown up!! ;-). I look forward to hearing more about your trip. I have been to Vancouver once, last year and I loved it so much. My BIL lives there now... Beautiful place!

I always download my pictures first, starting with the last picture to be shown. Then I write between the pictures. That is the best way for me and it helps me think about what I want to write when I am putting the pictures together.

Beverly usually notifies past PS people by email around Tuesday of the week before. If you are new, you need to email her with your name and blog. If she missed you, email her and let her know. PS is fun because it is a way to get to know people. The down side is it takes so long to visit everyone. I just spread it out over a few days. Enough said!! You just sounded a little distressed so I thought I'd try to help.

Have a wonderful weekend, Linda!!

xoxo
